     Within the floor covering industry, there has been a large shift to ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles.  There are many reasons that may be attributed to this shift, including the vast amount of style and beauty that is added with tile. Tile will actually increase the value of your home upon appraisal and their exceptional durability will give you a floor that you can enjoy for decades to come.

     The application of floor and wall tiles is very diverse.  The most common applications include bathroom, entry's, and kitchen floors.  However, some people have begun to put them on their outdoor decks, steps, living rooms, among other areas.  Wall tiles are usually available in sizes of 6" x 6",  8" x 8", and 8" x 10".  Many floor tiles (which can also be used on walls) are available in 6" x 6", 12" x 12", 16" x 16" and some are available in sizes as large as 24" x 24".  We also carry many coordinating deco, mosaic and listello (decorative crafted and/or painted tiles) trim pieces to give your home a very custom and unique look. 

We also specialize in tiled walk in showers.  Tiling an entire shower will give you a look like no other.  However, some precautions will need to observed in the waterproofing with special membranes prior to tiling to ensure that your investment will last for many years to come.  We only use the Schluter Kerdi Waterproofing system.  While there are many good waterproofing systems on the market today, this is a well tested system that is guaranteed 100% waterproof.
